Presidential Primary Election - March 4, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- Eligible persons may register to vote on any day up to and including the day of the election.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Request an absentee ballot here.
Ballot Request Deadlines
- March 4, 2024 - Final day to submit an absentee ballot request by 5 p.m.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- March 5, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot to the town clerk’s office. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by 5 p.m.
Primary Election - August 13, 2024

- August 12, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot to the town clerk’s office. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by 5 p.m.
- August 13, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot to your local polling place by 7 p.m.
General Election - November 5, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- Eligible persons may register to vote on any day up to and including the day of the election.
- Military or overseas voters are strongly recommended to request an early or absentee ballot at least 45 days before the election.

Ballot Request Deadline
Absentee ballots for the November 5, 2024 Election will be automatically mailed to all active registered voters no later than October 1, 2024. Learn more here.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- November 4, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot to the town clerk’s office before 5 p.m.
- November 5, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot to your local polling place by 7 p.m.
Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your ballot is received by election officials by Election Day.
