Presidential Preference Election - March 19, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- February 20, 2024 - Last day to register to vote for the Presidential Preference Election.

- March 8, 2024 - Final day to request an absentee ballot.
Ballot Return Deadline
- March 19, 2024 - Absentee ballots returned by mail or in person must be received by 7 p.m.
Primary Election - August 6, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- July 8, 2024 - Last day to register to vote for Primary Election.

Military and overseas citizens' ballots must be received by Election Day, November 5, 2024, by 7 p.m.

Voter ID Laws
- Arizona requires a valid form of ID to vote.
Accepted Credentials
- Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- To register to vote in Arizona, you must submit valid proof of citizenship in order to vote in all elections.
- If a voter doesn't submit proof of citizenship with their application, they'll only be eligible to vote in federal, but not state or lower, elections.
- Contact your polling place for an acceptable list of options.
Don't have a valid ID?
- Voters without valid IDs may sign an affidavit and vote a regular ballot.
