Primary Election - August 20, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline

August 5, 2024 - Final day to hand-deliver or mail voter registration forms.
- Registrations by mail must include a Wyoming voter registration application, which must be notarized before mailing, and a copy of acceptable identification.

August 19, 2024 - Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail, by phone, or in person.
- Military and overseas voters only may request an absentee ballot via this form.
Ballot Return Deadline
- August 20, 2024 - Last day for absentee ballots to be received in the county clerk's office, no later than 7:00 p.m.
General Election - November 5, 2024

- November 5, 2024 - Voters may register in person at their polling places.

- November 5, 2024 - Last day for absentee ballots to be received in the county clerk's office no later than 7:00 p.m.
Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your ballot is received by election officials by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Polling Location
- Use the Wyoming Secretary of State's Polling Place Locator to find your polling place.
V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws
- Registered voters in Wyoming must confirm their identity when they vote in person.
- A copy of your ID is not required to vote by mail, except for some first-time voters and voters who request an absentee ballot in person.
Accepted Credentials

- Contact your county clerk if you have questions about voter ID.

If you cannot present an acceptable ID when voting in person, you can cast a provisional ballot.

For your vote to count, you must show an acceptable ID at the county clerk’s office on or before the close of business the day after Election Day.
